Grand Canyon National Park covers about 1900 square miles in Arizona, with its main feature being the Grand Canyon, the gorge of the Colorado River. It was designated as a National Park in 1919 under the administration of President Woodrow Wilson. The primary access roads within the Park are along the North Rim Drive and the South Rim Drive (35 miles long), with the South Rim being more accessible and more visited. This sunset view of Wotan’s Throne was photographed on 7-24-2021 from Cape Royal Overlook along the North Rim Drive, in Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona.
