Grand Canyon National Park covers about 1900 square miles in Arizona, with its main feature being the Grand Canyon, the gorge of the Colorado River. It was designated as a National Park in 1919 under the administration of President Woodrow Wilson. The primary access roads within the Park are along the North Rim Drive and the South Rim Drive (35 miles long), with the South Rim being more accessible and more visited. Over 5 million people visit the Grand Canyon each year, making it the second most visited National Park in the United States after Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

This morning view of Angel's Window was photographed on 7-24-2021 from Cape Royal Road along the North Rim Drive, in Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. I used a Nikon D850 camera body and a Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 VR2 lens to capture this image. Settings: 1/200 sec, f/5.6, ISO 100.
